As the Vice President Labor and Employment Counsel, Jennifer Chernichaw leads labor and employment matters worldwide for the Company’s operating subsidiaries, including Atlas, Polar and Titan. She has more than two decades of experience counseling management on compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
Jennifer advises senior management and Human Resources on a broad array of employment law matters including harassment and discrimination awareness and prevention, creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, employee malfeasance and internal investigations, hiring and terminations, international employment law matters, litigation and administrative actions and personnel policies and procedures. In addition, Jennifer is instrumental in labor and union matters, including collective bargaining agreement negotiations, contract interpretations and disputes, grievance and disciplinary actions, negotiations with the Company’s unions and drafting related labor and settlement agreements.
Jennifer joined the Company in 2008 as Senior Employment Counsel. Prior to joining Atlas, Jennifer worked at White & Case LLP and Chadbourne & Parke LLP in New York City. At both firms, she specialized in labor and employment law.
Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree with distinction from Pennsylvania State University and a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law.
