Ed McGarvey is Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Atlas Air Worldwide and is an experienced finance executive with an extensive background in aviation finance, structured finance and banking. Ed joined the Company in March 2009 from HSH Nordbank, where he was Senior Vice President, Head of Aviation Americas. There he was responsible for finance and business development for the bank’s aviation finance unit.
Prior to HSH Nordbank, Ed was a Vice President in the Capital Markets group at GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS) from 1996 to 2006. He played an active role in portfolio and securitization initiatives.
As the Company’s Treasurer, Ed is responsible for capital markets and corporate finance efforts as well as banking, cash management, insurance, hedging and investor relations activities.
Ed is a certified public accountant with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Manhattan College.
