Bob Kiss

A respected airline operations leader for more than 40 years, Bob Kiss leads teams throughout the world in safely supporting complex aviation networks to deliver for customers and their international operations.

Bob’s expertise includes Ground Operations, Standards and Training, Facilities and Properties, Dangerous Goods Management, Fueling, Catering and Commissary and procedures standardization.

Bob joined Atlas Air in 1996 following a career that included work with Lufthansa, Air Florida, Pan Am, Airlift International, Jet 24 Aviation and others. At Atlas, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director of Ground Operations Standards and Training and Staff Vice President of Ground Operations. He has been instrumental in supporting Atlas Air Scheduled Cargo Operations, Passenger Operations for both AMC and private charter, Large Cargo Freighter for Boeing and the Southern Air Transition.

During his career, Bob has served as a member of the NDTA-MAAC Safety and Security Committee and has worked with Boeing and the Cargo Focus Team on improving Special Cargo Procedures.
